Vocational Project Dissemination Event

Posted: 17 February 2010 The London Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (LONCETT) would like to invite College and WBL managers, mentors of teachers in colleges and work-based learning, Initial Teacher Educators and professionals who work within the further education sector to a dissemination event at Westminster Kingsway College. Presenting at the event will be Professor Lorna Unwin and there will be workshops based on the research and curriculum resources developed by LONCETT over the last two years. The focus for the workshops will be our new report 'The knowledge you do every day - easing the transition of those who enter teaching from vocational backgrounds (2009)' and our mentoring resource 'Easing the journey from occupation to teaching - A guide for new teachers and their mentors in the Further Education sector'. The event is FREE and will be held on Friday 12th March 2010 between 10am – 4pm at Westminster Kingsway College. Please download the booking form and flyer for the event.
